GoodLight is an approved vendor for The Green Bride Guide
Welcome brides, grooms, and event planning professionals! Here is a bunch of information about GoodLight Natural Candles, why we are different, and how buying our candles can help your party be clean and green.

  • Going Green: Making decisions based on our environmental concerns has become common. As individuals we want to do our part, and as business owners we are responding to our clients' new priorities and desires. Switching from paraffin candles to GoodLight is an inexpensive way to make your event greener and healthier.

  • What is paraffin? The candles burning at most weddings or events are made of paraffin wax, a byproduct of oil refineries. The fumes from paraffin candles contain chemicals that aren’t good for us to breathe. Read more about paraffin here.

  • Pricing & Options: GoodLight candles are the first paraffin-free candles ever to be sold at, or close to, paraffin prices. Prior to GoodLight, the only other natural candles on the market cost AT LEAST three times what paraffin costs. For most folks, that meant there were no options.

  • Spreading the word: Once you have made the switch to GoodLight, we will help you communicate this choice to your clients. We can provide free promotional materials to spread the word that you’ve eliminated paraffin candle fumes from your location—for web sites, menus, tables, etc—announcing the choice you’ve made: “This establishment only burns paraffin-free candles.” Or our favorite, “Clean air provided by GoodLight Natural Candles. Because you breathe what you burn.” We will also provide additional publicity by listing your event planning company on our website.

We at Kula love to burn GoodLight candles. We have used their pillars, votives, and tealights in our space, and the palm wax candles always give us exactly what we are looking for: Natural, warm light that comes from a good place and good people.
